Hunt Clock ("the Extension") is a Chrome extension that replaces the new tab page with hunting season countdown timers and information. This policy explains what data the Extension handles and how.

Local Storage Data

The Extension stores the following only on your device (via the browser's local storage). It is never transmitted to us or any server:

Geolocation Data (Optional)

If you tap "Auto-Detect My Location," the Extension reads your device coordinates and sends them in a single request to the OpenStreetMap Nominatim API to determine your county. These coordinates are:

Solely to display relevant hunting season information, remember your preferences between sessions, and personalize your countdown timers.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data, share it for marketing, track your browsing, or collect analytics. The only external service contacted is OpenStreetMap's Nominatim API, and only when you use auto-detect.
